This term, G.B. Strong embarks on his 'Reading as a Community' 2021/22 UK schools tour (See below for details).
As a qualified teacher and creative writing specialist, Grant will be visiting schools and clubs taking the message of reading both for learning and fun with him.
His workshops support the promotion of reading for pleasure and dynamic creative writing. Compelling reviews have given him a stellar reputation as a worthy and trusted author and presenter for the crossover from KS2 to KS3.
“Grant has a proven ability to inspire reluctant readers and writers” (Wyburns School, Essex)
"Our Year 8 students were captivated by Grant’s presentation. We will definitely be booking him for another visit next year." (Helena Romanes School, Essex)
Dates are nearly fully booked for this term but next term currently has more availability.

Grant holds creative writing mornings during the school holidays to inject the fun into story writing. Whether working towards entrance exams or looking to develop the creative imagination, KS2 and KS3 aged kids are invited to participate in high energy, dynamic and interactive learning.
Along with reinforcing effective writing techniques, these sessions are designed to bring stories to life in a way where children can engage their imagination and individual skills confidently and effectively to improve not just their writing skills but also their understanding of how stories relate to drama, speech and personal growth.
"It's easy for a child to develop a negative mindset to reading or writing. I'm aiming reverse that... for good!" G.B. Strong
